Our mission is to empower individuals to achieve their goals in a welcoming, private and supportive environment. As a locally owned studio in the heart of Quadra Village in Victoria, BC, we are committed to providing flexible, contract free services tailored specifically to your needs.
Our team of experienced professionals, each with various specialties, is dedicated to providing personalized guidance and support. Whether you’re building strength, recovering from an injury or working towards specific goals, we are here to help!
Our Services

Personal Training
Core Personal Fitness provides tailored programs that are designed specifically for your needs. Our experienced trainers will help you set realistic goals and provide you with the tools and motivation you need to achieve them. If you have a partner or a friend you would like to train with, our personal training sessions can be booked as tandem or group sessions.

Kinesiology
Our Kinesiologists are movement specialists who use evidence based techniques to support your health, performance and overall well being. With a deep understanding of anatomy, biomechanics and physical conditioning, we create personalised programs for all abilities, whether you are recovering from an injury, managing a chronic condition or working towards a specific fitness goal.

Athletic Therapy
Our Athletic Therapists specialize in preventing and treating muscle and joint related injuries. They will support your recovery using hands on treatment, specific exercise prescription and education. Athletic Therapy isn’t just for athletes, it’s for anyone looking to move better and feel stronger. Services are often covered by extended health plans, with direct billing available for select insurers.

ICBC kinesiology
Involved in a motor vehicle accident? Our Kinesiologists will take you through an appropriate treatment plan focused on rehabilitation and improving your strength and mobility. Once you have your claim number, we can bill ICBC directly for the initial assessment and all the follow up treatments.

Workplace Wellness
Whether you are looking for fitness classes, one time seminars, or comprehensive health and wellness programs, Core Personal Fitness can help reduce the risk of health problems prevalent in your workplace.

Victoria Airport Authority: Workplace Wellness Program
"We decided to offer our staff at Victoria Airport Authority an opportunity to work with a personal trainer during our annual ‘Healthy Workplace Month’ of October. After researching various trainers in Victoria, we were confident with choosing Core Personal Fitness based high recommendations from a few different sources. The majority of our staff utilized both a Health and Wellness Consultation in conjunction with a Personal Training session. The feedback from all of our staff was very positive. Ryan was friendly, professional and provided a wealth of information for each individual. He was patient and understanding of each of our staff’s different levels of fitness and special requirements. He was always able to demonstrate an alternative for those who had physical limitations. While working with our more advanced staff such as fire fighters who are required to maintain a high level of physical fitness, Ryan was able to incorporate new and challenging training programmes into their daily routines to help them achieve their goals.
Everyone felt comfortable working with Ryan and very much enjoyed their sessions. We have had several requests to bring him back again and we absolutely intend to do so.

Over the last three and a half years I have become confident, strong, and, more importantly, I have learned to love my time in the gym! I went from not being able to do two pushups from my knees to regularly deadlifting the weight of a fully-grown person, from not being able to jump at all to running an 8k race. I couldn’t have done it without Lindsay and the rest of the team at Core.
The entire team at Core is knowledgeable and fun, but most of all they are kind.
