Personal Trainer

As a CSEP Personal Trainer, I am passionate about helping people build strength, confidence, and an enjoyment of movement that carries into every part of their lives.

Health and fitness have been central to my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up on the Gold Coast, Australia, I played netball, touch football, and AFL. Those years taught me how much looking after your body matters; how the way you fuel, move, and rest it shapes how you feel both physically and mentally. This passion led me to complete a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Development in Australia. As I learned more, I took my own training more seriously and ultimately became a certified personal trainer.

My goal is to create an environment where you enjoy putting in the work and grow into the strongest, most confident version of yourself. After 8 years of strength training, I know the importance of having a program you actually enjoy, one that aligns with your goals and fits into your life.

Being healthy and active has given me so much, and there’s nothing better than helping someone else feel that for themselves.

Credentials

  • Griffith University, Bachelor’s of Sport Development

Kinesiologist

I am passionate about helping others achieve their fitness goals through fun and empowering programs. Creating a safe and motivating environment is my goal.

Since graduating from Camosun College in 2023, I have gained diverse experience in the Kinesiology field, ranging from guiding backcountry hiking trips for individuals living with Type 1 Diabetes to working in a physiotherapy clinic. My experience focuses on fun, practical and functional movements. I am passionate about helping my clients move better in their day to day life and especially love training them for their next adventure.

Growing up participating in a variety of sports while managing my Type 1 Diabetes shaped my perspective on health, resilience, and longevity through exercise. The support exercise provides for my diabetes management is evident in my life; mix in some fun hikes or functional movement patterns and you have me at my core!

I look forward to welcoming my clients into a fun-loving environment of individualization, understanding, and hard work.

Personal Trainer

Fitness, health, and wellness are at the centre of my core values. I am committed to helping individuals achieve their goals and maintain active, fulfilling lifestyles. My approach goes beyond just working out; I focus on creating balanced, functional programs that build strength, improve mobility, and support longevity.

I graduated from Camosun College in 2020 with a Bachelor of Sport and Fitness Leadership and have over five years of experience working as a Kinesiologist. A large portion of my experience involves supporting older adults in managing cognitive and physical challenges, enabling them to live more mobile and independent lives.

As a Certified Personal Trainer, I use a combination of exercise science, training principles, and variety to design effective and fun training programs. While I enjoy working with clients of all backgrounds, I have a particular interest in women’s health. I love to help women build confidence, strength, and incorporate appropriate exercise modalities to support their bodies.

Outside of my professional work in the gym, you’ll probably find me working on my own health and fitness goals or getting outdoors to enjoy local hiking and walking trails.

Kinesiologist
Athletic Therapist

As a BCAK Practicing Kinesiologist and Certified Athletic Therapist, I am passionate about helping people meet their functional fitness goals in a safe and positive environment.

I have had a passion for sports and exercise since a young age, and love being able to share my knowledge on the topic with others. My goal is to collaborate with every client to ensure that each program works towards achieving their goals using a form of exercise they enjoy. With my background in athletic therapy, I also place a strong emphasis on safe and functional movement that can be translated into everyday life.

I was born and raised in Campbell River, BC, where I grew up participating in a variety of sports including softball, volleyball, dance and swimming. This led to an interest in therapeutic exercise and injury rehabilitation, which prompted me to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic & Exercise Therapy from Camosun College. I have experience working with individuals of all ages and abilities, including first-time gym goers and both recreational and olympic-level athletes.

I look forward to helping my clients meet their full potential and grow confidence in movement.

Exercise Physiologist

I have had a career focused on movement since 2018. I have experience in rehabilitation and performance training settings and enjoy helping others feel their best through movement. I am a CSEP Clinical Exercise Physiologist as well as a registered Kinesiologist in BC. I provide well-rounded programming with a focus on injury prevention.

I understand the importance of feeling comfortable in your training environment and finding your movement “why” in order to achieve consistency.

My movement usually involves some sort of biking, mountain or road, long-distance running, or strength training. I also love to get outside for a walk with my dog and appreciate the beautiful environment we get to enjoy in Victoria, BC.
