Personal Trainer

Fitness, health, and wellness are at the centre of my core values. I am committed to helping individuals achieve their goals and maintain active, fulfilling lifestyles. My approach goes beyond just working out; I focus on creating balanced, functional programs that build strength, improve mobility, and support longevity.

I graduated from Camosun College in 2020 with a Bachelor of Sport and Fitness Leadership and have over five years of experience working as a Kinesiologist. A large portion of my experience involves supporting older adults in managing cognitive and physical challenges, enabling them to live more mobile and independent lives.

As a Certified Personal Trainer, I use a combination of exercise science, training principles, and variety to design effective and fun training programs. While I enjoy working with clients of all backgrounds, I have a particular interest in women’s health. I love to help women build confidence, strength, and incorporate appropriate exercise modalities to support their bodies.

Outside of my professional work in the gym, you’ll probably find me working on my own health and fitness goals or getting outdoors to enjoy local hiking and walking trails.

Kinesiologist
Athletic Therapist

As a BCAK Practicing Kinesiologist and Certified Athletic Therapist, I am passionate about helping people meet their functional fitness goals in a safe and positive environment.

I have had a passion for sports and exercise since a young age, and love being able to share my knowledge on the topic with others. My goal is to collaborate with every client to ensure that each program works towards achieving their goals using a form of exercise they enjoy. With my background in athletic therapy, I also place a strong emphasis on safe and functional movement that can be translated into everyday life.

I was born and raised in Campbell River, BC, where I grew up participating in a variety of sports including softball, volleyball, dance and swimming. This led to an interest in therapeutic exercise and injury rehabilitation, which prompted me to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic & Exercise Therapy from Camosun College. I have experience working with individuals of all ages and abilities, including first-time gym goers and both recreational and olympic-level athletes.

I look forward to helping my clients meet their full potential and grow confidence in movement.

Kinesiologist
Athletic Therapist

I’m passionate about helping people move well and live active lives, whether that means returning to sport, staying pain-free at work, or simply keeping up with everyday life. In 2021 I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic & Exercise Therapy at Camosun College, and have since been working as a Certified Athletic Therapist and Practicing Kinesiologist. I work with clients of all ages and backgrounds, focusing on functional fitness and movement that supports real-life demands.

My background in competitive sports; including swimming, rugby, basketball, and cross country, gave me firsthand insight into the importance of movement, recovery, and balance. That eventually led me to coaching, where I had the opportunity to train and mentor young athletes in competitive swimming. Over the years, these experiences have helped shape my client-centered approach: one that combines science, empathy, and encouragement.

Above all, I believe that health should feel empowering, not overwhelming. I’m here to teach, guide, and motivate in making fitness and wellness a sustainable, rewarding part of your life. When I’m not working with clients, you’ll find me lifting, learning, or outside with my dog Kyro exploring the trails and staying active.

Personal Trainer

After a major career change, I landed the opportunity to work for a company specializing in running. It was there when I fell in love with running and was able to complete my first marathon, multiple half marathons, 10ks and smaller races. I was given the opportunity to lead running clinics for beginner and intermediate runners and helped them succeed in completing some of their very first races. After leading several clinics, I wanted to learn more about all aspects of fitness and help individuals not just cross the finish line but succeed in everyday life.

I attended the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology and graduated from the Personal Fitness Training diploma program. Completing this program gave me the tools needed to pursue my passion of helping individuals achieve their health and fitness goals. Since then, I have gained over 3 years of personal training and group fitness experience. As a trainer I like to start with a laugh and make the workouts as fun as possible for my clients.
